Post initial feedback
November 21, 2018
Seriously appreciate the feedback I’ve received from all of you who have reached out. I heard you all loud and clear. The video quote didn’t work the way I thought it would. I guess I must’ve heard it in my internal Eric Thomas voice. His voice is so damn passionate, you have to listen to it to see what I mean.
As for why I put the flossing article out there, it was because it was the first article I knew I could write.
I found it really difficult to start writing so I kinda had to go sideways to go straight if you know what I mean. I wanted to avoid the problem of never starting something because it wasn’t exactly what I envisioned.
As for a rewrite of ‘how to learn faster than everyone else’, that will probably happen. I still maintain it wasn’t as good as it should be.
I also left out points about why it’s important to fail fast or why being impatient is important for faster learning. Or how expressing yourself changes how quickly you learn.
The article still feels incomplete to me and the fact the link isn’t being shared or read all the way through is real feedback that I can’t ignore.
While content quality is one issue, the other is lack of it. So I will add more in future, hopefully real soon and daily (need a lot of emotional override lately as I’m super tired after work).
I want to write about ‘how we fall in love’ or ‘why we breakup’ or ‘how to be really self aware’. I sincerely hope my writing style levels up before I start those.
And really, thanks for the feedback, you can set the honesty level even higher by writing anonymous comments. I have no way of tracking any of that data. But maybe if I’ve been paying attention I could figure out who you are (muahahaha).
